After Caitlyn Jenner received Glamour magazine’s Woman of the Year award, widower James Smith, whose late wife Moira Smith was given the same honor 14 years ago, took offense.

In 2001, Moira was given the award posthumously after dyinga hero on 9/11.

James returned his wife’s award on Nov. 12, writing, “I find it insulting to Moira Smith’s memory, and the memory of other heroic women who have earned this award. Was there no woman in America, or the rest of the world, more deserving than this man?”
