Adam Levine was sugar-bombed outside the Hollywood set of Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, when he got hit in the face by a bag of powdered sugar.
Although the Maroon 5 frontman managed to keep his cool, he can be seen on video looking very angry before taking off his sweater and walking away in just a white t-shirt and jeans.
“Yesterday at around 8:00, off-duty officers working outside the Jimmy Kimmel studios observed Mr. Navid Farsi throwing powdered sugar at Mr. Levine as he was exiting and giving autographs to fans standing outside to the rear of the location. He threw the powdered sugar at Mr. Levine,” the LAPD said in a statement to Us Weekly. “It covered most of his upper body and also covered other people that were standing nearby so a total of 5 people that were covered with this powdered sugar. Officers took him into custody and they took him into custody on a private person’s arrest, a private citizen’s arrest. He was booked for battery and he is being held on a $100,000 bail. He has not been released.”
