Prince William and Princess Kate Prepare for Trip to India and Bhutan

Although they’ve never been away from their children for more than a few days, Prince William and Princess Kate are preparing to leave them for a week-long trip to India and Bhutan. Prince George is 2 and Princess Charlotte is 11 months old.

The royal couple will be on official Palace duty as they tour the region, but insiders say they’ll keep in close touch with the children vie Skype. Nanny Maria Turrion Borrallo will be on hand to tend to the children’s needs in their absence.

Kate’s supportive mother, Carole Middleton, will no doubt be a phone call away, too, while her daughter is away.
