In a new Wall Street Journal op-ed, Pamela Anderson is urging men to give up porn, calling it a “public hazard of unprecedented seriousness.”

The piece, co-written with celebrity rabbi Schmuley Boteach and titled “Take the Pledge: No More Indulging Porn,” discussed the consequences of pornography addiction on marriage and fatherhood. Anderson and Boteach referenced the recent turmoil surrounding ex-congressman Anthony Weiner, whose wife filed for divorce in the wake of a second sexting scandal.

“From our respective positions of rabbi-counselor and former Playboy model and actress, we have often warned about pornography’s corrosive effects on a man’s soul,” the pair concluded.
