New Book Claims Kris Jenner Orchestrated Daughter Kim Kardashian’s Leaked 2003 Sex Tape

Kim Kardashian shot to fame after her 2003 sex tape with former boyfriend Ray J was leaked, and a new book claims it was Kris Jenner who engineered the ordeal as a publicity stunt.

Ian Halperin, famous for his tell-all tomes on Micheal Jackson and Kurt Cobain, cites porn industry sources in his new book Kardashian Dynasty. His sources claim Jenner approached Vivid Entertainment after a friend suggested a sex tape might achieve fame for her daughter.

Jenner and Kardashian have both denied such allegations in the past, with Kardashian telling Oprah Winfrey in 2012, “I felt humiliated. Why would anyone put humiliation on their family like that?”
