Melissa Etheridge Speaks Out In Support of Brad Pitt After Abuse Allegations

In an October 3 interview, rocker Melissa Etheridge said she is “heartbroken” over the allegations plaguing Brad Pitt in his divorce and custody battle with Angelina Jolie.

“It breaks my heart that anyone would take something as personal as your marriage and your relationship and your rights to your children and do it as purposefully as I see it’s being done,” said Etheridge, referencing the child abuse allegations Pitt faces.

Etheridge, who was a longtime Pitt friend before losing touch when he began dating Jolie, also said she would love to reconnect with Pitt as he handles this difficult situation.
