Kate Gosselin Explains Why Her 10-Year-Old Son Is Away Getting Help

In the latest issue of People Magazine, Kate Gosselin candidly addresses why she sent her 10-year-old son Collin away to get help.

“Collin has special needs,” Gosselin says. “[There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things.”

The mom of eight went on to say that Collin is currently away at a program she hopes he will benefit from.

“We miss him so much, so it’s been hard because there is a huge hole in our family without him here. But it comforts us to know he’s where he needs to be right now, and I can feel good about that,” Gosselin concludes.
