Christina Grimmie’s Family Says Adam Levine Has Offered to Pay Funeral Expenses

In the wake of the tragic shooting death of former Voice standout Christina Grimmie, Adam Levine has offered to cover her funeral expenses. Levine coached Grimmie during her 2014 appearance on the reality music show.

“I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for her funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away,” wrote Marcus Grimmie, Christina’s brother and tour manager.

Levine also posted an emotional message on Instagram when news broke of Grimmie’s death, saying, ““Behati [Prinsloo] and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken…”

Grimmie was signing autographs after a June 10 show when a deranged fan approached and shot her multiple times.
