Earlier this week, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp revealed they had reached a divorce settlement out of court. The following day, a judge dismissed the pending domestic violence case against Depp.

Now, Heard, 30, has announced she will donate her entire divorce settlement to charities with “a particular focus to stop violence against women” as well as to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where she has volunteered for a decade.

“The amount received in the divorce was $7 million and $7 million is being donated,” Heard said in a statement. “As described in the restraining order and divorce settlement, money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity.”
