Although the #AskHerMore campaign was introduced by female celebs on the red carpet with all good intentions – to get reporters to ask questions about more than just fashion – Melissa Rivers says the idea has been taken too far.

“Let’s keep it in perspective,” she told HuffPost Live on Wednesday. “If there’s something interesting going on or you want to get out a message – absolutely. But let’s not carry it so far that it’s an insult to ask who you’re wearing.”

Melissa, of course, is the daughter of the late Joan Rivers, who was known for her sharp sense of style and even sharper tongue as a fashion critic.
