Ciara Refuses to Recognize Ex-Fiancé Future as a Billboard Nominee

In a moment of awkward silence that spoke volumes, Ciara stopped mid-sentence while announcing the Billboard nominees on Good Morning America on April 11. Realizing that the Love, Sex, Magic singer was refusing to say the name of former fiancé Future, cohost Ludacris jumped in to finish reading the category.

Though Future and Ciara share a child together, their relationship is rocky. In February, she filed a defamation lawsuit against Future due to “aggressive” tweets and interviews.

Ciara is currently engaged to NFL player Russell Wilson.
