Anne Hathaway Apologizes for ‘Unintended Shade’ Thrown at Kardashian Family

Anne Hathaway has deleted a May 23 Instagram post referencing the Kardashian family after receiving backlash.

The post, which was of a popular meme encouraging people to be unique “in a world of Kardashians” was shared by Hathaway along with the caption, “In a world of Kardashians … Be a Helena Bonham Carter.”

Hathaway later deleted the post, saying she never intended to offend.

“Post removed for unintended shade thrown,” Hathaway wrote. “It never occurred to me I was pitting anyone against each other. Not my style. Peace x.”
