Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer Will Divorce After Nearly a Decade of Marriage

In what has become a season of many celebrity divorces, actor Tobey Maguire and his jewelry designer wife, Jennifer Meyer, have announced their intention to split. The couple, who met in 2003 and share two children, have been married for nine years.

“After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” Maguire and Meyer said in a statement. “As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”

A source close to the couple says there was “no drama” involved, and the couple took time making this decision.
