Tarek and Christina El Moussa of ‘Flip or Flop’ Fame Have Split

Tarek and Christina El Moussa, stars of HGTV hit Flip or Flop, announced in a statement that they have split.

“[We] will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together,” the former couple said in a statement, also noting they will coparent daughter Taylor and son Brayden.

News of the split comes months after a May altercation in which authorities were called to the couple’s Orange County home for a “possibly suicidal male with a gun.” Tarek El Moussa informed officers he had no intention of hurting himself, but reports say Christina was visibly shaken.

The pair married in 2009 and began their reality television journey together in 2013.
