Mariah Carey and Fiancé James Packer Call it Quits

Mariah Carey has reportedly been dumped by billionaire fiancé James Packer, to whom she became engaged in January 2016.

“James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world,” says a Carey insider, adding that Packer also had concerns about Carey’s outrageous spending habits. “It’s all over.”

A second source reports that Packer’s mother and Carey did not get along, also leading to discord for the couple.

Carey has been married twice before, to Tommy Mottola and to Nick Cannon, with whom she shares 5-year-old twins.
