Yankee Player CC Sabathia Checks Into #Rehab for Alcohol

On Monday, Oct. 5, CC Sabathia, pitcher for the New York Yankees, announced that he has left the team in order to check himself into rehab.

“Today I am checking myself into an alcohol rehabilitation center to receive the professional care and assistance needed to treat my disease,” Sabathia said in a statement.

The news comes just one day before the Yankees are set to face the Houston Astros for a spot in the ALDS.
