Mandy Moore on Divorce: ‘I’m Growing Into the Best Version of Myself’

In a candid new interview with People Magazine, Mandy Moore opens up about her panful divorce from Ryan Adams, to whom she was married for six years.

“There are moments of being curled up in a ball on the floor,” Moore explains. “It’s really hard. But I’ve moved on and . . . I do believe things happen for a reason. And I think I had that mantra moving through the trying times.”

Moore reveals she has been happily dating musician Taylor Goldsmith for nearly a year, and she is excited about her buzzed-about show, This Is Us.

“I feel so much lighter,” Moore says. “And I’m growing into the best version of myself.”
