Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Share #Newborn Son’s Name

In a video posted to the Duggar family’s YouTube account, Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald announced that they’ve named their newborn son Spurgeon Elliot Seewald.

“His nickname has been Quincy since we first found out we were pregnant. We’ve been working on finding out a name, and we finally figured it out!” Duggar said in the video.

Seewald explained how they chose the name: “His name is Spurgeon Elliot Seewald…Why we named him that: Charles Spurgeon was a preacher who lived back in the 19th century and he had a big impact on our lives. Elliot, that was the last name of Jim Elliot and Elizabeth Elliot, and Jim Elliot was a missionary.”
