James Franco penned a new op-ed for the Washington Post late last week, and in it he went on to wax poetic about one of his very first employers – McDonald’s.
“McDonald’s sales have slumped,” he wrote. “Maybe people aren’t into the chipotle barbecue snack wrap… All I know is that when I needed McDonald’s, McDonald’s was there for me. When no one else was. … I was treated fairly well at McDonald’s. If anything, they cut me slack. And, just like their food, the job was more available there than anywhere else. When I was hungry for work, they fed the need.”
These days, of course, Franco is a celebrated actor and most recently starred in The Interview.
