On Friday, Nov. 13, Ariel Winter slammed body-shamers after posting a photo of herself in a bikini with her nieces.

The actress then shared a photo on Instagram of a woman’s leg marked to show what labels women are given based on the height of their skirts.

“The height of a girl’s skirt or whatever she is wearing for that matter, does not imply what she is asking for. It sickens me to think that at 17, a photo of myself with my nieces is suggesting that I’m ‘asking for it,’” she wrote.
