When Amanda Seyfried weds her stage actor fiancé Thomas Sadoski, she most definitely won’t be wearing white.

“I don’t want to be the center of attention,” Seyfried, 31, told Vogue Australia. “I get to go to premieres and get dressed up all the time. I went to the Met Gala last year in a wedding gown… I’ve played a bride a billion times.”

Seyfried has gotten married on screen in Mamma Mia!, Les Misérables and The Big Wedding, among others. She says she would prefer to differentiate her real-life wedding, recognizing the importance of the day.

“The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment,” she says.
