Raven-Symone To Leave ‘The View’ to Reboot ‘That’s So Raven’ with Disney

The View cohost Raven-Symone has announced she will be leaving the popular daytime show in order to revive her career’s signature project, That’s So Raven in partnership with Disney.

The spin-off will feature an adult Raven Baxter raising two children as a single mother. One of the children has inherited Raven’s psychic powers. Symone will executive-produce the series, as well as inhabiting the starring role once again.

In a statement, Disney said, “We now have our eyes on the future with [Raven], and we’re looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family.”
