Miley Cyrus Announced as Host of #MTVVideoMusicAwards

Two years after her scandalous performance with Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus has been announced as the host of the MTV Video Music Awards.

“F— yeah VMAs!!!!!” Cyrus, 25, tweeted to her nearly 21 million followers. “#VMAs on @MTV Aug 30 at 9pm.”

Cyrus also posted two photos on Instagram of herself holding two signs. The first reads, “MTV won’t let me perform,” and the second says, “So I’m hosting this year’s VMAs.”
