Mariah Carey’s performance on this year’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show didn’t go exactly as planned.

Claiming sound difficulties, Carey simply stopped performing midway through and walked off stage. In the days since, accusations have been tossed around about who is at fault. Now, a rep for Carey is claiming the singer did everything right and carries no blame for the mishap.

“She went through vocals and her team ran through sound,” the rep said. “All was well at rehearsal. She was prompt for rehearsal and her performance.”

Carey’s camp maintains Dick Clark Productions is at fault for not properly producing her performance.
