Joseph Gordon-Levitt Met #EdwardSnowden for Upcoming Biopic

In preparation for his lead role in the upcoming biopic Snowden, Joseph Gordon-Levitt met Edward Snowden in secret.

“He was in good spirits,” the actor told The Guardian. “Certainly there was that note, that he very much would like to come home. He doesn’t want to live in Russia at all.”

Gordon-Levitt said the meeting helped to understand the former CIA employee so he could portray him more accurately.
