NBC is adding iconic singer Celine Dion to their line-up for season 12 of The Voice. The French-Canadian songstress announced on January 27 that she will join the show as Gwen Stefani’s adviser. The singers appeared together on Today and shared their sentiments about the partnership.
“I am blown away by [Dion’s] unbelievable story,” Stefani said. “Having this unbelievable gift to be able to speak through music to the whole world.”
Dion was just as complimentary of the No Doubt lead, saying, “I know Gwen very well. I know her career. I know how beautiful she is all the time.”
The new season of The Voice premieres February 27.
