12-Year-Old Phenom Grace VanderWaal Wins ‘America’s Got Talent’

After stunning the judges and viewers alike with her original song, “Clay” during the finals of America’s Got Talent, pre-teen singing sensation Grace VanderWaal took home the million dollar prize.

As her name was announced, the musical phenom, who has often been compared to Taylor Swift, burst into tears of joy alongside host Nick Cannon and golden buzzer coach Howie Mandel.

Leading up to the announcement of her win, VanderWaal performed her viral audition song, “I Don’t Know My Name.” Stevie Nicks, who was in the audience, was floored by the young singer’s talent.

“She’s got it. Whatever happens, Grace is going to the top,” Nicks said.
